ForceField security for a shipping-container drive-through

A builder asked us to secure a drive-through built from shipping containers, without blocking the view through the service windows.

The brief

This was a one-off job for a builder fitting out a drive-through made from converted shipping containers. The containers needed to be locked up securely when the business was closed, but staff also had to see out clearly and serve customers through the windows during the day.

What we fitted

  • A hinged ForceField security door on the staff entry, set into the container end with a black frame and Lockwood lock
  • Sliding ForceField security screens on the service windows, with black frames and a keyed lock on each

Why ForceField

We chose ForceField to keep everything as clear as possible. Its 316 stainless steel mesh is the most see-through security screen in the Prowler Proof range, so staff can see out to the drive-through lane and customers can see in, while the windows and door are secured with a welded frame and keyed lock.

The sliding screens move across the service windows, so staff can open them to serve and slide them back and lock them at close.
