ForceField security screens and window film, Maudsland
A full fit-out for a newly purchased home and granny flat in Maudsland: 14 ForceField window screens, four security doors, and heat-reduction film on the windows.

The brief
The owners had just bought this established home and wanted the whole property secured from the start: the main house and the granny flat. They didn't want to lose the view of the pool and the tropical garden that wraps around the house, and they wanted the glass to let in less of the Queensland heat.
What we fitted
- 14 ForceField security window screens
- 2 ForceField hinged security doors, including the front entry
- 2 sets of ForceField sliding security doors onto the covered patio and alfresco areas
- Heat-reduction window film to cut the heat coming through the glass
- Across both the main house and the granny flat
Why ForceField
This house is all about the outlook: the pool from the living room and the big-leaf garden from the bedrooms. ForceField's 316 stainless steel mesh is the clearest security screen we fit, so the views stay and the doors and windows can be left open for the breeze. The black frames were matched to the window frames so the screens look like part of the house.
Screens and film together
The security screens look after security and airflow. The window film cuts the heat coming through the glass. Doing both in one job meant one measure, one quote and one install for the whole property.
