Protec security screens on a shed, Ormeau

A steel shed holds tools, equipment and sometimes the car, and its windows are often the easiest way in. We fitted Protec security screens over them.

The brief

The owners of this Ormeau property wanted their steel shed protected. Shed windows are usually basic sliding windows set into the cladding, out of sight down the side of the block, which makes them an easy target.

What we fitted

  • Protec security screens over the shed windows
  • Each screen made to measure and fixed to the steel cladding around the window
  • Frames powder-coated to match the shed colour

Why Protec

Protec's perforated aluminium sheet is a tested security screen in a welded frame, so the windows are no longer the weak point. During the day it also makes it hard to see what's inside from the side path or over the fence, so the tools and gear aren't on display. The perforations still let air through, which helps in a steel shed on a hot Queensland afternoon.

Not just houses

Sheds, garages, granny flats and studios can all be screened the same way as the house. If you're getting the house done, we can measure the shed at the same visit.
